Gearing up for motherhood! Zoe Saldana stocks up on toys as she shows off her growing bump on Instagram

With two little boys on the way, it won't be long until she can't move for toys.

And Zoe Saldana is getting a head start on accumulating some goodies for her twins, as she received a basket full of goodies from her latest animated feature, The Book Of Life.

Of course, given that she stars in the movie, the toys will have special significance once Zoe's two are old enough to play with them - including several trinkets of her character Maria.

The 36-year-old showed off he bump in a purple sweater dress as she posed with the gift on Instagram on Wednesday.

The brunette beauty wore her long tresses around her shoulders in loose curls following a press appearance as she still has a clip-on microphone on her dress.

Along with the snap, she wrote: 'With my #bookoflife toy basket! Go see the movie this weekend!! So excited. #maria #manolo #joaquin #chuy.'

Zoe lends her voice in the family friendly film which follows the story of Manolo, vocalized by Channing Tatum, who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart during an adventure that spans three fantastic worlds where must face his greatest fears.

In addition to Zoe and Channing, the movie features voices of Diego Luna, Ron Perlman, Christina Applegate and Ice Cube.

On October 12, the actress looked elegant in a peach Altuzarra dress at the Los Angeles premiere of the film.

During an interview with E! News, she revealed she's getting ready for the arrival of her twins.

'Whether I'm ready for it or not, it's inevitable,' she said. 'I'm there. I'm in it. So, I'm gonna have to be ready.'

Adding: 'The one thing I keep telling myself is I don't ever want to overflow my cup of patience. Trying to become an adult before I become a mother is very important for me, because I don't want my bad day...to be my children's price to pay.'
