Conor McGregor & Floyd Mayweather Set For Epic Fight In Las Vegas

Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor would be one of the most sensational fight nights in recent memory

Is Floyd Mayweather making his return to the ring? The retired boxer is reportedly about to sign a deal for a multi-million dollar Las Vegas fight against…UFC champ Conor McGregor? Click for all the details.
Look who’s back! Floyd Mayweather, 39, walked away from the boxing ring with a perfect record and more money than anyone could imagine, but it seems like he couldn’t stay away. Floyd’s reportedly about to make an epic comeback and his alleged opponent is someone who talks as much trash as he does: Conor McGregor, 27!
Yes, the “retired” UFC champion (who’s not really retired) and the actually-retired boxer are “on the verge of agreeing” to the biggest fight in boxing history, according to The Sun. Floyd and Conor just have to “agree on the purse” and “sign the paperwork.” An official announcement about the fight is expected in a few weeks. This reported clash of fighting’s most flamboyant figures “was agreed, in principle on May 2. But, Floyd wouldn’t reveal the identity of his opponent until…he told friends he’ll be fighting Conor.”
“Floyd went mad after Conor,” a source told The Sun, as the boxer “said he would crush him andknock him out in 30 seconds. He’s obsessed with making Conor eat his words.” However, fans expecting to see Conor choke out Floyd in thirty seconds will have their MMA-hearts broken, as this reported match will be boxing only.
“Floyd is calling the shots. It’s strictly boxing and Conor will have to lose roughly 25 lbs.,” the source tells The Sun. Considering that Conor suffered his first UFC loss to a much bigger Nate Diaz, 31, at UFC 196, staying small might be to his advantage. Hopefully, Conor included a “no interview” clause, as he faked his retirement from UFC because he didn’t want to do any more press conferences.
