UNIBEN appoints Professor Osasere as its new VC

The Governing Council of the University of Benin, Edo State, has announced Professor Osasere Orunwense as the substantive Vice Chancellor of the institution.

Osasere would take over from the out-going Vice Chancellor, Professor Godwin Oshodin, whose tenure expires on November 30.

Until his appointment, Professor Orunwense was the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the institution.

He was also a two-time Rector of the Institute of Management and Technology, Usen, in Ovia South-West Local Government of the state.
