John Mikel Obi has been accused of assaulting a female journalist, who works with Abuja-based radio station KISS FM.
According to reports, the Super Eagles midfielder lost his temper after the journalist approached him for an interview after training.
BBC reporter Oluwashina Okeleji, first brought the story into public domain when he tweeted: “A female journalist has claimed #Nigeria’s Mikel Obi assaulted her after training on Monday, when she approached him for an interview.
